Tim Bost's "Gann Secrets Revealed" is really a great read!!

Tim was a regular guest expert on my Commodity Classics program on Yorba.TV, and I'm looking forward to having him back on my new Society of International Traders show. He always brings unique insights to our discussions about the markets, and his forecasts have been incredible!!

Before I got this book, I had been wondering about a few things in astro-trading, Uranus being one of them. As I was going through this book I went back and tracked the 2 degree waning orb before it went retrograde against the Gold market. Wow!! 4/20/09 was amazingly accurate!!

Right now I'm still working on the Equinoctial Mirror points and I could use some help on the Antiscia calculations...they are both covered in the book, but it takes a little work.

All in all this is Great content!! A must read for anybody in this field!!

I am very thankful to have this invaluable information. Looking forward to volume #2!!

Stay away from this "book", April 23, 2010

"Gann Secrets Revealed" is a lofty title, compounded by the subtitle, which promises to talk about the "Law of Vibration Trading Tools that connects Planetary Timing with Market Prices"... and proudly states "Beyond Symbolism in Financial astrology", no less.

Now the facts: a small size book, 76 pages of a double line spacing with a big font. Up to Page 14 we learn how the idea of the book came about. Up to Page 20 that Mr Gann understood astrology (thanks for the info...), up to page 36 that some angles are negative and others positive (not exactly a discovery...), and that slow moving planets have more impact on the markets (same remark). That's already more than half the book, which actually finishes on page 68 if you take out bibliography. That leaves 32 pages to explain the concept of antiscias (something that is freely available using Google), that some points of the zodiac are energized when a planet stations, and that there is a way to toggle between longitude and price... for 47.95$, I call that a complete rip off.

I have no doubt Mr Bost is one of the most knowledgeable persons in Financial astrology today, but this "book" is a disgrace. If you want to learn about Gann and astrology, try the books of Patrick Mikula, with hundreds of pages of well documented examples (and quite affordable) before throwing your money on this.

Tim Bost's 'Gann's Secrets Revealed' reveals no secrets whatsoever! It offers no insight to Gann's application of astrology or to any of his methods of analysing the financial markets. This book, or rather a 75-page long pamphlet, is all about its author who happens to be the publisher, and his alleged knowledge and understanding of astrology. It took me 30 minutes to read the book from cover to cover during which it became clear that the manuscript is a product of one day's work. It contains no diagrams, nor charts, not even an image of a zodiac wheel. It involves no research, no examples, and no records of any of Gann's trades.
It is my opinion that this 75-page long pamphlet has a grossly misleading title that reveals nothing. Amazon should remove it from sale.

The book is a booklet of 90 pages with a lot of pictures and price charts to fill the pages. I expected to get some value from this overpriced book but it is totally a rip-off and an insult to the reader. The author states that rising, culmination and setting of the planets is correlated with price moves, picks some price charts which fit the hypothesis and voila! The trading secret! Only he misses to state that there are on average 20-30 such instances in the trading hours! Which one is going to work is out of question for the author. I feel naive I bought this book.

Very interesting Astro-Trading book, April 11, 2011

In his 2nd book Mr. Ratti explains how to read the sky and gives a specific example of how to setup a software with which you are able to identify turning-points on your intraday price-charts. This idea is not completely new (See: Why Markets Turn;Azzet Group), but Mr. Ratti gives you background-information with explanations not found anywhere else.
In Chapter 5 of his little book he moves to another intraday-planetary-trading-possibility i have not seen yet. Whith this knowledge you can devide your tading-day in parts which then are bound to one planet. I have to figure out if this really helps intraday-trading but it's a complete new idea so far.
With his new 'little' Book Mr. Ratti has written again a very interesting book for the Astro-Trader with information not found anywhere else. Like his first book, it's also a 'must have' for every Astro-Trader.

Good astro trading book!, May 15, 2011

This is a good read for the beginning or advanced astro trader. The daytrade technique taught is little known and valid. The author even tells you how to get free software so you can use the technique to trade with.

If you are an advanced astro trader or a student of Gann, Beyer, Jensen, Ferrera etc.,and you belong to any of the various yahoo astro-finance groups you will be familiar with the "wheels within wheels" concept. This is right out of the book of Ezekiel. The authors explanation of the astrology/astronomy in Ezekiel is sound and may be the only public print explanation ever offered.

Most astro & trading material is priced way too high! This author's material is the exception as he seems to offer good product at prices that are more than fair compared to others in the industry.

A strong buy!

Mr. Pesavento has taken great time to explain the correlation between planetary movement and the markets, something I always thought about, but never studied. I use his book in conjunction with my trading system, and have dramatically improved my trading results.

This book give a good introduction to astrological aspects for the uninformed and then describes which ones are key to turning points in financial markets. Pesavento relates astrological relationships of planets to Fibonaccio ratios which are well respected by traders in financial markets. I suggest you buy this book versus his other titles, Planetary Harmonics and Harmomic Vibrations. They have duplicate coverage of many concepts mentioned here and do not add appreciably to the material covered in this book.

Astro trading for the Beginner, October 13, 2002

The book is ideal for someone who want to begin to understand what Astro Trading is all about. Larry's presentations are simple to understand. I found the references made and most charts shown to the period between 1985-1988. This may sound a bit outdated but the examples do help to understand when certain planets form certain patterns and the outcome of these pattern formations.
The paper quality and the the quality of the charts need improvement. I also found that certain arrows pointing to certain points in the chart to be slightly off the exact mark. To me this was frustrating because I wasnt sure whether there was a print error or was the error made by the author or maybe I was the one who couldn't see the examples presented clearly. The book needs to have a revised edition with the charts redone
clearly which many software programs are able to do these days.
All said, this is a good book. One which explains astro-trading in a simple format.

Beginning with other worldly. ethereal, calm, peaceful music ... essentially the whole CD consists of original soothing and relaxing sounds. Starting with synthesziers, the music is highly evocative, occasionaly creating a human-like humming, with chimes bursting the reverie. The initial melody weaves into other natural and lovely sounds. On the harp and flutes, Gerald Jay Markoe takes the listener on a cultural journey, first to the indiginous flute music of the Incas which melts into Orient flavoured magnificent delicate floral arrangements. This music flows and winds with awesome splendor taking us back to the Ocean of life, connecting us to an infinite harmonic unity. I first heard this music in the early to mid-1990s during meditation class sessions and have loved it ever since. Erika Borsos (erikab93)
